3. Fullblood and Purebred classes must be animals registered 94% or
higher for does, 97% and higher for bucks. Percentage does will be
does registered 50%- 88%.
4. Check in by Sat., 7:30 A.M. with substitutions or scratches.

Group Classes
All animals in group classes must have been shown in their respective classes
and be entered in the show under the same exhibitor name.
Class 23: Pair of Does (Two does) Exhibitor may make one entry per breed.
Class 24: Exhibitor Trio (Two does and one buck) Exhibitors may make
one entry regardless of breed. (Does may be either breed or one of each).
This class will take place after Class 23 of the Fullblood/Purebred Show.

papers by 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning.

1. In addition to these special rules listed below, this department is
subject to the General Rules and Regulations as stated in the

2. All breed association rules will be followed for the show: American Angus
Association, American Hereford Association, American Shorthorn
Association.
3. Cow/Calf Pairs: Calves must still be nursing. No steer calves permitted.
4. Nurse cows will not be permitted.
5. Grooming: Any product administered internally or used externally to alter
the conformation and/or appearance of an animal for exhibition is
prohibited. This includes the covering of white skin, false tail heads, use of
graphite, powders, hemp or other similar substances externally, and steroids,
growth stimulants or artificial filling internally. Any animal found to be in
violation will be barred from showing. The exhibition of cattle displaying
false hair will not be allowed with the exception of false tail switches.
6. Registration papers must be checked and crossbred heifers measured by
6:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2008.

2. All Southdown and Shropshire breeding sheep must be sheared within ten (10) days of showing.
3. Sheep Check In: October 11, 2008 (Saturday), half hour after the conclusion of the Swine Show, at the
Show Office.
4. Natural Colored Rules:
A. Fleece length must be minimum of two inches except neck, legs and belly. These Sheep may
be fitted. Bellies must be shorn.
B. All wool grades (fine, medium, long and coarse wool) will show in the same class.
C. Sheep must be registered with NCWGA or their breed association.
5. Show Order: Eastern Regional Dorset Show, followed by the remaining breeds in order listed below.
